Our Home and Life in Kamiah Idaho

Our place completed-summer 2008. Here's our little hide-a-way in Kamiah, Idaho. We spend as much time there as our busy life allows during the summer months. We are on the side of the hill overlooking the Clearwater River and the Kamiah valley. Part of the Nez Perce Indian Reservation. Our park model was manufactured in McMinneville, Oregon. We ordered it early in the summer of 2007 and it was delivered on October 31st, 2007. This picture is as it looks today.

Our home arriving...........coming up Chief Looking Glass Lane. The fun is almost here.

It's here and the work begins. Here are the proud owners on October 31, 2007.

Shown here during construction of the decking during the early summer 2008.

Pictured here is our doorbell. . . . . .it welcomes all who will come and stay a spell.

These pictures are of the "Stein Ranch" inside and out. As you can see, we have a limited amount of space but do have a bedroom upstairs for visitors. That room and the "inside outhouse" are free!

This is the stairway to the bedroom upstairs, which is in the next picture.

Back side of the parkmodel. . . . this is where we park and soon there will be a storage shed/wash room located back here as well.

View of the lounge chairs on the deck. . . . next picture is a view down the hill towards the Clearwater River and Kamiah valley.

Our Kamiah home, in the distance, during the snow season of 2008-9. A winter wonderland.

The street sign at our neighbors pretty much says it all-cause as you might guess we are between 'therock' and 'ahardplace'.

Things to do and places to go, in and around our Kamiah place includes viewing of wildlife like all these deer who happen bye on August 27th, 2009. Bear, and lots of fish are also part of the fun.

Our Kamiah home in the early fall 2009, taken from across the street. We are almost done with all the improvements to afford a very comfortable living when we find time to spend a week or two.

You can play at white water rafting near Riggins, Idaho. It's close to our place in Kamiah.

Oh its VERY nice. Thanks for sharing it with Dad and I. Wish
there was a picture of the loft,
too, though! Maybe if you add that,
let me know?

I'm happy for you both.

Love n' hugs, Kitti
