At 30 years of age Charles became the father of Mirla Elizabeth Leach Enid, Oklahoma (Indian Terr), Apr 12, 1909. At 33 years of age Charles became the father of Miles Garrison Leach Miles City, Montana, Nov 12, 1911. At 36 years of age Charles became the father of Frank Andrew Leach Elmer, Montana, 1 Nov 1914. Charles was born and spent the early part of his life in Illinois. As a young man he moved to Kansas and there met and married Zula Lloyd. The first of eight children was born while living in Kansas. After leaving Kansas they moved to Oklahoma and spent the next eight years. They soon decided there was more opportunity out west so moved to Miles City, Montana in 1911. There he worked as a fireman and an engineer for the railroad as well as various other jobs. In 1922 he left the family and went to Hudson Bay Junction, Saskatchewan, Canada were he spent the next 12 years. In the 30's he worked at Fort Peck Dam and in the 40's at the shipyards in Vancouver, Washington. At the time of his death he made his home in Lewiston, Idaho.

On Apr 1, 1734 in Richmond Co., Virginia; Thomas Legg of Northfarnham Parish was summoned before the Grand Jury for the charges of being a Common Drunkard, Common Swearer and a Common Disturber of the Peace. Thomas gave no defense for these charges and was sentenced to One Year Probation, 20 Pounds Sterling. On Jun 5, 1736, Thomas Legg and Sarah his wife, Planters of NorthFarnham Parish, Richmond Co., Virginia sold for 50 Pounds, 250 acres of land.
