Our Home and Life in Surprise Arizona

View of our home at 14594 W Zuni Trail, in Surprise, Arizona. We spend our winters here, going down each year to the Southwest during October and returning to the North at the end of May. We bought our home in Zuni Village late 2004 and moved in during January 2005. We have welcomed many friends and family looking for a winter sun break. Lots and lots of fun times have been shared.

Welcome to our home.

This view is of a couple of holes in the back nine, eight of which are over water. Very fun executive length course in our resort.

The Piano was a Christmas gift to ourselves a couple of years ago. It greets us and our guests in the entry way of our winter home.

Every word is true.......you read this exit sign over our front door.

This photo is taken in the living room area. We hope that all guests feel as comfortable and warm in our home as we do. The next couple of pictures are of some statuary.

Guest room and facility.

Fun stuff on the other walls................

Our kitchen.........most of our early morning time is spent here. All the photos are sort of after Judy has put 'OUR' touch on the living areas.

Our formal dining room area has a full wall mirror.

Looking at one side of our office........both of us have computer desks and machines. This was one of the first spaces in our home to be remodeled.

When we retire in the evenings. . . . . .

The Bedroom walls say it all. The color of our master bedroom walls is called, Mississippi Mud.

Our backyard is 9 foot narrow and long. It helps to have the open green area. The area was redone in 2010.

Our Hibicus as we grow them in Arizona. . . . next to our garage. . . .2010

And all back yards need a water feature, right ?

View from our backyard toward Pima Lake. The sidewalk pictured here goes down around the lake, (3 times around is equal to 1.1 mile).

We relax and play in our community pool. It is reported to be the second largest freeform pool in the Phoenix area. Our recreation building includes a room full of pool tables, a restrauant, beauty shop, game rooms, exercise facilities, pro golf shop, offices, a ballroom, lounge areas, gift shop, and library. On Sundays - church services are also held. Every imaginable card game can be played with neighbors during every day and evening. Our resort includes a golf course, tennis courts, pickle ball courts. shuffleboard, horse shoes, and hiking trails.
